Who We Are

The FUN Commune is started by us, a pair of sister duo, who believe firmly in working with both parents and children to nurture a happy family life. We have accumulated a decade of teaching experience and guided many children to achieve their developmental milestones, while having a curiosity to learn and having a passion for life. In the midst of them, we have also created close bonds with their parents to guide them in their parenting journey. With our experiences and the theories that we have learnt in our Masters programme with NIE (NTU), we strive to create a respectful environment for children to grow and flourish in, and for parents to find a space that understands and support them in their parenting journey!

Kei Soh

Ms Kei has accumulated a decade of experience working with children and holds a Master of Education (Developmental Psychology) programme with NIE (NTU). Her research interest is on motivation and her thesis focused on understanding teachers' intrinsic motivation and children's learning outcomes.

Ms Kei believes in working together with children to nurture their intrinsic motivation to learn (=enjoy learning!), because learning can be fun, no matter how boring or challenging it is. Learning is not an easy journey, but it can surely be an enjoyable one!

Soh Huang Ting

Ms Ting has a strong belief in working with parents to nurture a happy family unit. She has a Master of Education (Developmental Psychology) with NIE (NTU) and has obtained her certification from the Parent Coach Institute (USA). Her research interests are parenting styles, perceptions of parenting styles as well as screen media exposure.

Her favourite tagline is "Every child is unique, so is every parent."

While we work to guide the little ones, we have to look at parents' perspectives and strengths to support their child's growth.
